The 3rd secret online store is CompUSA.com. Just like the other 2 stores, these are confirmed sales from the online retailer. If you select a link and the price doesn't match the BFGear posted price, it will adjust on 11/27 at 12:01.
Links are being added all night tonight into tomorrow morning. Just because an item you want is not highlighted blue now, doesn't mean that wont change later in the day. Online shopping starts tonight at midnight. We will be up all night with up to the minute details as stores adjust their prices to the advertised Black Friday prices you see in your local newspaper.

2nd of 3 Secret Online Sales Released. TigerDirect.com
The 2nd store of 3 that was released is TigerDirect.com. Some of you that are not familiar with Online Retailers, may not have heard of this store. Tigerdirect.com deals mainly in electronics and computers. Also, Tiger Direct has been ranked in New York's Top 25 Online Retailer. Personally, I will not post an online store here that I don't trust and/or buy from.
If you are in the market for a TV or a new Computer/Laptop, this is the ad for you. Some of the bargains include a Mitsubishi 60" 120hz DLP for $899.99, a 73" 120hz for $1499.98, a Sony 46in 120hz LCD for $979.98 (Orig. $1850), and many more.
Just like the 1st store, the sale doesn't officially start until 12:01AM on 11/27. If the price is different than what is listed here, it will change after 12:01AM 11/27.
Another note, one of the advantages of shopping online is if the store is not located in your state, you may not have to pay sales tax.

1st of 3 Secret Online Sales Released. Circuit City.com
Over the next few hours, secret bargains from online stores will be posted here. Although some of the prices have already been reduced, the actual sale does not start until 11/27 @ 12:01EST. If you click on a link and the price doesn't match what is posted here, don't be discouraged, it will Friday morning. These advertisements came directly from the online store, so these are real.
I know some of you are thinking, Circuit City? They closed last year. Yes, this is true, but the Circuit City brand was bought out by a company called Systemax Inc. on May 19, 2009, and they are keeping the website running.
Check back often. Bargain sites 2 and 3 will follow shortly.

Amazon.com released their Black Friday ad today. There are over 650 links to products. Some of which are already marked down to the Black Friday price.
Be sure to check back tomorrow, 11/25 @ 2PM EST. More ads are going to be released that may convince you to shop from home this year.

New Office Max Ad Posted. Direct Links Updated!
In an earlier post, the original Office Max ad seemed incorrect/in-complete. It seems this assumption was correct. The new Office Max Ad list has been updated for you to view. You can also download the ad in our Black Friday Ads section.
A couple thousand direct links have been uploaded for you view as well. Any item description that is highlighted blue is a direct link to the coorisponding retailers' product(s). These will be particularly helpful on Wednesday night in Thursday after midnight, where many of the prices will automatically adjust to the advertised Black Friday price.

5 Black Friday Myths Revealed
Black Friday is 1 week away, and retailers are going to do whatever it takes to get you into their stores to spend money. Knowing the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions regarding Black Friday, may help you become a bargain shopping expert.
Myth #1: Black Friday Deals are over-rated
Black Friday Ads are considered "teaser" ads to get you in the store hoping you will buy something else. The prices are set so low that many retailers take a loss on sale items in hopes that consumers will buy something else while they are in the store.
Myth #2: All advertised bargains will sell out quickly
For the most part, this myth is true. Most Black Friday items have limited quantities. Once they are sold out, that's it. No rain checks. To beat this myth, consumers need to arrive at the store 12+ hours before the doors even open, or shop online Thanksgiving Day if the item is available.
Myth #3: I need to stand in long lines to get what I want
Only for "instore only" items is this myth true. People standing in long lines has become more of a tradition than a necessity. Why stand out in the freezing cold, when you can just shop from home in your favorite pajamas.
Myth #4: The prices in the store are always cheaper
This is rarely true. With today's technology, marketing experts have already figured out that consumers are shopping smarter, not harder when it comes to saving a buck. The prices you see online are usually the same prices you will see in the store.
Myth #5: Black Friday Sales begin on the Friday after Thanksgiving.
False. Don't let the name fool you. In years past, the only way to get the best deal, was by standing in line. Although each retailer is different, starting Thanksgiving morning, the online prices will adjust to reflect the Black Friday prices. Remember, online shopping is just like shopping at the store. A set quantity is available for purchase online. Once that quantity is met, the item will show "No longer available online" and your only choice is to stand in line on Friday.

Kmart Thanksgiving Day and Macy's Ad Leaked
In years past, Kmart has tried to jump start the Holiday Shopping Season by opening on Thanksgiving Day with special sales items. This year is no different. The Kmart Thanksgiving Day Ad has been leaked and is available to view. Although the ad is not yet available for download, a complete list of what's on sale is available to view.

Ace Hardware, Staples, and Target Ad Released
Many new updates to report in the last 3 days. The following new ads have been released for you to view:
A quick note to new visitors this year, and a reminder to repeat visitors. Many of the items listed here are available for purchase online, Thanksgiving day (not Friday). Here is how it works...
Anytime between midnight and 5:00am on 11/26/2009, if you visit one of the retail stores, you will probably get a message that says the site is down for "maintenance". What's really happening is that the store(s) are adjusting all of the prices to reflect the Black Friday sale. Once the prices have been adjusted, a pre-set number of each item is available for purchase online. You can decide if you want to have the item delivered, or if you want to pick it up from the store (if available). Once this pre-set number is reached, the item will show as sold out or "not available online" which means you have to stand in line on Friday if you still want to buy it.
That is why it is important to stay tuned to bfgear.com on Thanksgiving Day. Direct links are set up for each individual item that is available for sale online Thanksgiving Day. If you are in the market to buy a 42" Sharp TV, instead of going to the store's web page and searching for a "Sharp 42" TV", direct links to the sales items will already be set up here. All you have to do is click the link, select "add to cart", decide if you want to pick it up or have it delivered, pay, and your done.

Even though it is still 3 weeks until Black Friday, a lot of activity has been going on at BFGear headquarters. The bargain shopping buzz is in the air.

Bass Pro Shops ad listed with ad download

As you can see, most of the sought after stores have already been leaked. Look for Wal-Mart's highly guarded, "G-14" classified ad to be posted early next week. Rumors are floating around about a potential Wal-Mart Pre-Black Friday sale going on this weekend. Details will be posted here once this information is verified.

Best Buy and Radio Shack ads posted with download
Best Buy's ad leaked today??? The question marks are there because this doesn't seem like the Best Buy Black Friday ad were used to. There are some bargains to be had, but nothing compared to last years Black Friday ad. Where is the $199 laptop teaser from past years? The $199 Desktop? Thats why all ads posted here are considered "un-verified". Expect some last minute deals that will not be published in the Thanksgiving Day newspaper.
As a result of this questionable ad, the "Shop By Category" feature has not yet been updated with this new release in anticipation of a better ad.
We are still 2 weeks out from the big day. Stay tuned, we will update this ad as soon as more information becomes available.

Shop By Category has been launched
The updated "Shop By Category" feature has been launched to give you an idea of what it will look like as Black Friday approaches. Right now, the links are not active, but as it gets closer to Black Friday, you will see the "descriptions" start to highlight in blue.
In about a week, when you click on the "Blue" highlighted areas, it will automatically take you to the corresponding retail store, so you can view the exact item available for sale.
More ads should be leaking later this week, so check back often.

It looks like Kmart is going to repeat last year's tradition. They will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 7:00am-9:00pm. It's unsure at this point how many of these items will be available online Thanksgiving morning. Remember, this is only the Thanksgiving Day ad, expect the Black Friday sale items to be posted soon.

New Features For 2008
We at BFGear.com strive to bring you the most user friendly website for Black Friday. An "Online Shopping Tutorial" is a unique step-by-step tutorial, with pictures, that shows you how to shop online. Avoid the long lines, bitter cold weather, and parking nightmares.
To make the site even easier to navigate, a "Shop By Category" feature has also been added this year. The digital switch takes place February 17, 2009, so expect HDTV's to be at the top of the list for hottest items of the year.
As you can see, Harbor Freight, Lowe's, Sears, and Walgreens ads have already been posted. With only 3 weeks to go, expect ads to be posted on a daily basis.
